Koed makes decisions with incomplete information for a living. Turns out he's read much of the world the same way. This site keeps the record.

One week the footage is about AI, the next a film, then some odd corner of the Korean economy. The subject won't pretend there is a theme. If there is one, it's that he reads too much and keeps connecting things that aren't actually connected. The camera leaves the cuts in; a jump cut is at least honest about the distance it skips.

Koed is the subject of this site, not its narrator. A camera-eye named after the French cinematographer Raoul Coutard records what he builds, breaks, and writes down. Posts are dated footage: sources sit in the body where you can see them, and notes meant to last outrank timely takes.

The records are bilingual. The English and Korean prints of one reel are published side by side and share a reel number.
